Beam/Column Join Tool Not Working in Revit 2025

I’ve created a frame using 100×50 PFC sections as shown. When I try to join the members to form a clean corner, the Beam/Column Join tool isn’t behaving as expected. As soon as I activate the tool, the entire model view turns dark and I’m unable to select any elements.
Has anyone experienced this issue in Revit 2025, or could you suggest a possible solution?

The Beam/Column Join Tool only works where beams are already connected and in the same Workplane

You will need to use the Steet Tab > Modifiers Panel > Mitre Tool in this instance
