Autodesk Answers Days: Revit to Robot LINK

hi!

I wanted to ask Autodesk guys and girls some more question regarding this matter:

Does Autodesk use consultants from the real world that have done some real projects? If it does, they are not very good. If it doesn't, then it should.

What I am talking about is the Revit <-> Robot link. I have been successful to make it work one-way (from Revit to Robot), never two-ways as Autodesk Marketing say it can done.

I am wondering if anyone in Autodesk believe that linking between two software can be done with just two options "Send" and "Update"?

I can give you more than 30 minimum options that should be there to (almost) successfully link those two.

When some serious development will be done in this area?

Be honest, how many developers are still working on Robot? I would bet on 1, maybe 2.

As I can see, you will kill the Robot too?

I just read your post. Right now I think that the 2-way transfer between a design software an an analysis one is a myth. At this point the BIM dream is cut and became real BIM work. This is my thinking today. It seems that autodesk is not worried about dismissing this kind of feeling. Thanks Julián
