2D Family

So i have this simple 2d detail item family for a rebar

When i use this detail item the two families move together the rebar and the annotation tag in the blue circle .. i want to allow the user to move the tag alone and when he moves the detail item the tag moves with it

Are you trying to tag the family after its placed, or it the text part of the family?

The annotation tag is another family i created and loaded into the detail item family

So when i load the detail item family in my project its created with the annotation tag

I want to allow the user to move the tag alone without moving the detail item

I don't think you'll be able to do that. Once its in the family, with out adding dimensional parameters, it is where it is placed.  Why not just place it as a Tag (Tag All or Tag by Category) and let the user move it as needed?
