Hi, I have Revit 2020 and I am trying to open an rvt file of electrical installations that is saved in the 2017 version. At first it appears to me that it is being updated but then this message appears and the file can no longer be opened. It is the first time that happens to me, how could I solve it?

Try upgrading sequentially instead of skipping versions.

It upgraded to 2021 without any problem.

I couldn't try it in 2020 since I've uninstalled that version.

I don't know why it happened on your end but mine did it just fine.
