Want the hole area

I want the cross section hole area, not the square area without hole, how can do it? Thanks.

Create one without hole and subtract it to the one with hole then you can have the hole area.

Not sure why pictures are necessary.

- if you are 2022 then associate the void's cut geometry with a y/n instance parameter

- write down the area when the parameter is ticked versus when it is not then do the math

- if you are 2021 or older then just create 2 families, one with the void and one without
