Solar Panels Façade

Hello Guys, Which is the right way to create a Solar Panel families on Revit which can be  oriented even from est to ovest for option A and  for Solar Angle 0-max Zenit to Option B to install on a roof? Basically I am trying to modify this existing family created in Generic models, but as inserted in a model, through sections and Plan, is not allowed to be orient on vertical planes, just orizontal. Maybe would be perfect adding the sun shaded % of area category

I'm sure there are better families, but attached is one I used on a ~2016 project. If I needed one today, I sure would do things differently.

For a façade it should be simpler since they are just flat and typically not in a slope. 

Maybe some sort of curtain wall system may work. Really depends on what type it is in real life and how it is integrated into the building or just attached. Also depends on if you need electrical functionality, how you need to schedule and tag it etc.
