I am trying to set a parameter for how for the nozzle is from the center of the tank but there does not seem to be a way to do this. I got the angle parameter to work just fine. The nozzle is a child family I loaded in. I tried aligning each axis of the nozzle to the axes of tank and I got it work in one quadrant calculating the distances with sin and cos, but Revit doesn't like negative length parameters, I guess.

i was going to suggest using a Reference Line (Ref Lines can be arc's and circles) with a parameter to adjust the radius... But when i tried it, i couldn't get the Nozzle to lock to the Circle Rev Line ☹️

hmmm I'm stumped for now... i removed a couple formulas for testing and if I edit the parameters manually, by electing the nozzle and picking the dimensions, it works. When i try to use the parameters using the Type settings it breaks.

I appreciate the help! Circles and Revit just do not mix well.

Linier Dimensions and Circles don't work well together LOL. Hopefully someone else will chime in with other options/opinions....
