Title Blocks to Display Label Sample Values

Hi everyone,

So I'm working for a company who has used AutoCAD and only AutoCAD.. They are having me set up a Revit Template so they can advance their company.

Anyways I have talked to my coworkers about title blocks from CAD to Revit. So basically seeing Revit puts a "?" when labels are loaded into a project or template, is there a way to have the sample text value show instead? The guys here are so used to CAD and with there being so many different offices to the company, it would be best so to have the labels actually labeled instead of blank once in an actual project? That way stuff isnt filled in incorrectly.

Maybe this is far fetched, and I am expecting a lot.. I don't know if I could create parameters, because out of Revit parameters are something new to me, but hey I can get them to work if I have to..  I'm not new to Revit but I'm still learning everyday.

Thank you all so much!

Hello,

The ? means that the parameter that fills that label is empty, in your template you can fill up the parameters with some references, like in address you write "insert the address" or make a fake address showing the proper format, like "NN road name, city name" for example.
