Revit families exported from Inventor do not allow material changing

Hi guys, I work using Inventor to model products, some are too complex to design directly in Revit.
When exporting from Inventor to Revit using the BIM Content tool, everything looks normal. But when opening in Revit, I can't change the product material. I have products that have many finishes and I need to make them have their materiality changed.
Is it a problem with Revit?
Am I doing something wrong? What am i doing wrong?
How can I fix it?

Do you import them into the project or create a family with it? Are you able to explode it in the family without issues?

I export from Inventor as a Revit Family.
Sometimes I can explode without problems, but for the most part, because they are complex drawings, I can't explode because I lose details of the model.

That is one issue with Revit, so you will not be able to change material unless that are exploded or created in Revit.

Is there no other way? Via export of .adsk?

Is there any way to create complex drawings within Revit?

Depends on how much experience you have in Revit and the complexity of the equipment.

Have you tried exporting as a .sat file?

I will try and tell you what the results are.

I exported from Inventor as a Revit Family, and I also exported the 3D model as .sat.
I opened the family, I deleted the family's 3D drawing, I imported the 3D (.sat) into the family.
I can now change material through the Object Styles tool via the Manage Tab.
How can I change the material through the family type menu?

Can you select the object and will it give you options ti change material in the properties dialog box. If not, will it let you explode it without losing any modeling?

I can not explode because are imported as .sat.
If it wasn't .sat, I would lose modeling when it exploded.
Is there any way to add the option to change material in the properties dialog box?

WYSIWYG with Revit, not very many customization options.
