Hi all,

I installed Revit 2023.1.3 and, after triny to use Systems Analysis functionlity, it appeared "Energplus can't generate report" error.

After reading some other posts, I tried to replace the Openstudio and Energyplus folder (version 3.5).

The simulation ran but these error appears instead

Annual Overview Annual Overview section failed and was skipped because: Optional not initialized. Detail on error follows. ["C:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/resources/os_lib_reporting.rb:542:in `get'\nC:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/resources/os_lib_reporting.rb:542:in `block in output_data_end_use_table'\nC:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/resources/os_lib_reporting.rb:532:in `each'\nC:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/resources/os_lib_reporting.rb:532:in `output_data_end_use_table'\nC:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/resources/os_lib_reporting.rb:258:in `annual_overview_section'\n(eval):1:in `block in run'\nC:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/measure.rb:279:in `eval'\nC:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/measure.rb:279:in `block in run'\nC:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/measure.rb:275:in `each'\nC:/PROGRA~1/NREL/OPENST~1/measures/openstudio_results/measure.rb:275:in `run'\n:/ruby/2.7.0/gems/openstudio-workflow-2.3.1/lib/openstudio/workflow/util/measure.rb:521:in `apply_measure'\n:/ruby/2.7.0/gems/openstudio-workflow-2.3.1/lib/openstudio/workflow/util/measure.rb:114:in `block in apply_measures'\n:/ruby/2.7.0/gems/openstudio-workflow-2.3.1/lib/openstudio/workflow/util/measure.rb:67:in `each_index'\n:/ruby/2.7.0/gems/openstudio-workflow-2.3.1/lib/openstudio/workflow/util/measure.rb:67:in `apply_measures'\n:/ruby/2.7.0/gems/openstudio-workflow-2.3.1/lib/openstudio/workflow/jobs/run_reporting_measures.rb:117:in `perform'\n:/ruby/2.7.0/gems/openstudio-workflow-2.3.1/lib/openstudio/workflow/run.rb:291:in `step'\n:/ruby/2.7.0/gems/openstudio-workflow-2.3.1/lib/openstudio/workflow/run.rb:233:in `run'\n:/openstudio_cli.rb:1173:in `execute'\n:/openstudio_cli.rb:803:in `execute'\n:/openstudio_cli.rb:1972:in `'\neval:188:in `eval'\neval:188:in `require_embedded_absolute'\neval:173:in `block in require_embedded'\neval:167:in `each'\neval:167:in `require_embedded'\neval:126:in `require'\neval:3:in `'"]

and all the stats are empty.

What can I do? is there any other folder I need to replace?

Thank you for the help,

Hi @c_rago I would recommend an uninstall and a clean re-install.

Please let me know if that works. Thank you.

Thank you.

hi @ChitnisPrateek ,

it worked by doing a complete clean uninstall of Openstudio and their dependecies, and check that there was the minimal version supported by Revit 2022.

I moved to 2023 now, so the EP and Openstudio I was using there were already ok for the tool.
