Panelboards Schedules on Sheets

Is there a way to verify that you have all you panelboards schedules on a sheet? I know with your drawings it will tell you what sheet it is located on. or if you can write something in model review to check.

That's a great idea.

It would also be nice if there were some semi automated way to place these things on sheets.  Either 4 per 24x36 or 9 per 36x48 would be nice.

And while I'm asking for the moon and the stars: how about a automated panel schedule legend that shows the PS names in the bottom right corner. 😃

I think design master will place them on a sheet for you but with design master its another app you have to buy and to get the full use out of it everyone needs to have it so the cost gets pretty high. But i would like to see another alternative to design master.

Those are good suggestions.  You may want to add your requests in Revit Ideas.  Then others may vote for those suggestions.

Thanks,

Eric

You give us too much credit. Design Master Electrical RT doesn't automatically insert panel schedules for you. I did take a look at the APIs and it might be possible.

For listing panel schedules that are not inserted, what about something like this?

Let me know if you would be interested in that as a free utility. I can finish packaging it up and publish it next week.

I am  still a bit of a novice with Revit MEP and am thinking about purchasing Design Master.   Automatic placement of panel schedule would be nice but can't we simply place panel schedules on a give sheet and arrange them as we see fit?

You can place your panel schedules manually on your sheets and arrange them exactly like you want.

Automatic placement of panel schedules doesn't exist (in Revit or DM).

It's an interesting idea to see if Model Review could handle this. I haven't tried that tool in a while, but suspect it might be able to handle it. The key would be to distinguish between the "Schedule Graphic" versus the "Schedule" itself. As you know, one schedule can appear on multiple sheets. Each instance on a sheet would be a "Schedule Graphic".

Here's what it looks like inside of Ideate Explorer, when filtering on the word 'panel'. In this project there are 25 panel schedules but only three have been placed on sheets so far.

If anyone gets this to work in Model Revit, please post info - I've always struggled to build out my rules.
