Not able to use Tag all for generic model elements

Hello,

I am experiencing issues with using the "Tag All" function. There are multiple instances of a generic model with shared Tag parameters, which are also used in the Generic Tag model family. While I am able to tag each individual element of the generic model, the "Tag All" function is not working for this particular model. However, it is working for all other elements.

If anyone has encountered a similar issue and has a solution, please let me know.

Thank you.

Change the view discipline to Coordination, tag all, then change back to an MEP discipline.

Are you trying to tag multiple separate Generic families? Or are you trying to tag Generic families nested in Mechanical family?

Thanks @iainsavage

I appreciate that the solution was helpful, however, it is strange that the issue occurred in the first place. As it is a generic model, the tags should be visible in all views across all disciplines, unless they have been turned off through the Visibility Graphics or filters.

It is not that the tags are not visible, they are not being applied in the first place.

It's because in an MEP discipline view the Generic Model category is classified as "underlay" and is not selected en masse. Wall tags etc act the same way.
