MEP not printing correctly to dwf or pdf

Whenever I try to print to pdf or dwf, if I use vector mode instead of raster the architectural always prints overlayed over my ductwork or piping. I tried adjusting all of the different settings such as view range, discipline, and every other view configuration possible and still no luck. This happens with and without linked files.
We may need to produce our stuff in vector for the client so it is important that our work print correctly. Attached is a picture of what I mean. Any quick help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Only way to get around that is to use Raster printing. We know about that one and we're working to resolve it.
