MEP annotation scale problem

Hi everyone 

I try to create MEP family that unsymmetrical when i changed primary of connector and load into project then symbolic change too.

How are explained that Revit use annotation scale reference from what?

I think this function try to scale symbolic from setting but i don't know it scale form what logic?

I believe the scale considers the origin point of the family.

I think it is roughly the printed size of the fitting on a sheet based on the symbols hosted on the same planes as the pipe connectors in the family.

So if you have a valve which is symetrical around the Centre Left/Right plane and the setting is 3mm then on a sheet the symbol should be (about) 3mm long.

I don't think its a precise science though.

If you have a fitting which is not symetrical the results become a bit weird.
