make custom curb for AHU

Im wondering is there a way to make a custom size curb. i need to have the exact curb size to mark points for a trimble machine because this is a precast project.

create a custom slab with parametric dimensions length width depth add a void and constrain dimension to the footprint of the slab if it needs to appear hollow.

or maybe use a profile and sketch the outline

ok i dont exactly know how to do that but i tried to just make a basic slab but after i made it i cant select it to move it around.

How would you handle placing the custom family on sloped slabs?

If I were to do it, I would simply use a special wall type to build the curb and attached the base to the slab.  If there is opening then use either a floor opening, a shaft, or a void family to cut it.

Occasionally, there are more than one openings inside the curbed area, and/or the size does not exactly match the curbed area, so there are no needs for a built-in opening, keep it flexible.

well i dont use structural stuff very often because i rarely have a need so im very unfamiliar with this territory. all i need now is to be able to move the slab i have created but i cant select it or move it.

as far as sloped applications I must say not too familiar with how.
