Make a schedule of a item from MEPcontent and then export the scedule to excel

Hello,

i'm having trouble making a schedule in my revit project to get all the correct data into the schedule.

i wanna insert some info of a few components into my schedule like Procescode, Article Type and Code but when i make the scedule i don't get all the correct data and can't find out whats is going wrong.

in the picture below you can see the data of 1 component i want in the schedule. The procescode under the defenition Identity Data is a shared parameter i made to define individual components in the project, but when i make a schedule and select the parameter it is just all blank cells.

as you can see in the picture i filled in the Code and the Procestype in the properties of the component but they dont show up in the schedule

hope i made it clear enough what i am trying to accomplish and what is maybe going wrong.

thanks in advance

Are the MEP components included in the categories for your schedule?

Did you make sure to add it under this dialog box for your instance parameter?

The Catagorie: MEP Fabrication Ductwork and MEP Fabrication Hangers where unchecked. i've changed it and checked it by trying to make a new schedule but it did not work

Is the Procescode a project or shared parameter?

Its a Project parameter and the tag i created to tag the code is a shared parameter

Could you send a screenshot of the schedule properties and the parameter associated with the Procescode?

I just looked back through the OP and see that the item you have listed is a detail item and not an actual family. I am not sure this information will show up in this type of schedule. Have not dealt with this type before. Sorry to have made you go through all these steps.

Not a problem at all, im glad some one is even trying to help me out here even if we can't figure out whats going wrong.

i have thought about that to that that is maybe a problem, ive went into the familie and made a parameter inside the Family Types of one of the famillies i numbered and did a test with filling some of the sensors in but that also didn't work so im kinda out of idea's what to try next.

Just one more question, was detail items checked in your parameter properties?

The reason this is not showing up is because it is a detail item placed on a drafting view.

It is a viable way to make schematics in Revit, but unfortunately won't show up in the schedules.

Schedules will only count families placed in the model.
