Hi Forums,
I have a specific question about hiding/unhiding elements in view that I have not been able to figure out on my own:
When I am making a callout or section box, and I do not want to see certain things, I often have found it easier to hide elements in view(EH) as opposed to playing around with templates, filters, worksets etc. However now that I have been doing this for two years, I have been going over my old projects, and realizing that these "hidden in view" elements are a bit of a mess, and I am ready to go back, reveal them, and set their properties properly in templates, like I should have been doing.
The problem is that when I reveal hidden elements(RH) I am shown EVERYTHING that is not shown for any reason. For example, if I were to open visibility graphics(VV) then go to model categories and uncheck ducts, my view would not show ducts. If I were then to reveal hidden elements, it would show all the ducts in magenta; the same goes for everything else that is unchecked which most of the time is most of the project. Now, you can imagine that when I go to reveal hidden elements while on the hunt for those old rogue hidden elements, I simply can't find them in the chaos.
I don't want to see everything in reveal hidden elements view, I just want to see the things that I was lazy about last year. Is there a way that I can locate these little criminals and give them a more appropriate appointment.
Thanks!
