How do I change the length of a custom pipe by dragging the connector dots?

I'm trying to connect the end of a custom stab in pipe to an elbow but it's not letting me change the length of the pipe by dragging it. The only solution I found was to change the length manually through the properties but it's really slow. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can you align it to anything? If nothing is available, you could use a reference plane. Could be useful if you have multiple stub ins.

Just grab the end and drag. Can’t think why that won’t work.

Unless you are talking about Fabrication Parts rather than Revit pipe

That's right, its a MEP fabrication part made through CADmep. Is there any way to make it draggable?

Not my area of expertise I’m afraid, I don’t use fabrication parts.

They're all at different lengths so I'd need to make new reference planes everytime. But thanks for the suggestion

It works with our Database Pipe Items. Try unlocking the connectors in the Item file.
