Grid Offset in Revit

Good Morning, I'm having an issue and hope that anyone can assist. I have a linked architectural model in my mechanical project. After I have created grids to match the architectural model I have discovered that on the top floor they have offset the columns. This throws my grid off. I then destroyed my grid and did a copy/monitor of the architectural grid. However, I am missing a few grid lines here and there. Im assuming its because those grids are on a different level then what is being copied. Is there a way to solve this quickly?

Grids are 3d. If they are out of the view range of the view then you may not see them. The architect may have decided certain grids are not relevant to certain levels so they stretch their height to be out of these level.

Agreed. However, take grid 3 for instance, on floor 4 it is in one location. on floor 5 its approximately 18'-0" to the left. how can I get the grids to match on every floor? It seems there is a 2D option when I select the copy/monitor grid. I am unable to switch that to 3D for some bizarre reason.
