Filling a family by Filter

Hi all,

I have an electrical equipment object and I would like to fill the surface using a filter.

I applied a filter but I do not see any change(already tried to disable the other filters, but not worked)

Can you suggest me some points to check? As well modifying the family.

Thanks,

Can you be more specific about what you have, what you want, and what you've tried?

Sharing the family would help tremendously.

Hi,

I have this object

And It should be filled by blue colour.

I tried to do that applying a specific filter to the object but It does not work.

I turn off all the filters applied and tried to have a look at the Visibility settings but I have not found a possible solution.

Can you please give me some more options to consider?

That sounds more like a family editing issue than a filter issue. Have you tried editing the family and adding a annotative region?

Can you check a few things:

View Discipline

Filter rules

Filter VG settings (including whether or not the surface has a solid fill applied)

Does the family have an embedded family of a different Category

View Range (is this cut or surface)

The family need a surface or a filled region visible for the filter to work.  Share it if you are not sure.
