Hi, I want to make a Sprinkler family that has several colors of bulb (different color indicates different temperature when bulb brakes) I would love to make a family with several different types of bulb's color. How to do it? So far when i make several types of this family, in forst type I crate material that has for example blue color, in second type material that has red color. When i load this family into project, first and second type of this family has same bulb color (red). Is there any formula that i can put int txt file and gain list of types (with color of materials) of this family when loading into project? Kind regards, RN

Not sure how you constructed your family. But you can assign a material parameter to objects n the family. If you assign a different material to each family type you definitely can have different colours of sprinklers. This material parameter can also be put in a type catalog.

Upload your family with the type catalog so we can have a look what you have sofar.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
