Exporting a sheet from Revit to Autocad splits text to single lines.

When I export sheets to drawing files the text notes split into single lines. Is it possible to export so the text remains as multiline so it can easily be edited in Autocad? Is it possible to easily merge single lines from within Autocad?

Yes.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Can you show us an example?

Revit export does this where each line is in its own multi text box:

As opposed to this where all text is one box:

How about what you have in Revit?

Does this happen with ALL text notes?

Appears to. I just did a test to see if it would work using a legend in REvit and exactly the same thing happens. Is there a setting in the export set up in Revit that addresses this?

In autocad if you have the express tools you can use TXT2MTXT to change single-line text to mtext.
