I have problem to Export my project to IFC file. It takes a lot of time (about 0,5h) and finally pops up error. the operation is interrupted due to some error. An unexpected error

What's your Revit version and what Revit use A/S/M ?

You will have to do some experiments to see where the problem lies.

Exporting tends to take quite some time because a lot of conversion work has to be done.

Some things you can try:

-Try exporting a different file and see if that works.

-Change some of the IFC export options.

-There is also an (open source)  IFC exporter available which is under constant development which might improve results.
