ELECTRICAL LIGHTING PLAN HELP - BOLD/DARK LINES FIXTURES-FOREGROUND

I can't figure this out. I have a light fixture above a counter in a restroom. It is halftone but if i hide the counter it will show normal dark style. Is there a way to override so that lighting is always on the foreground? That way, they can see the counter and that the fixture is above the counter. I will have to create a detail line annotation as a work around, but i don't like having to do that. It can also get really messy when exporting to CAD if need be because the layers will export as ANNO instead of E-LIGHTING.

It sounds like you are in a ceiling plan. A floor plan will show the light fixture above (dark) the counter.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
