I was working with our ELEC team this week and they showed me the manual process of copying the Mark information from the MECH model into Jbox families and then circuiting the Jboxes so that the correct information is displayed within the panel schedule.
I felt like that was a tedious process and wrote a dynamo script to speed the task up. If finds the closest Mechanical Equipment element to the Jbox and replaces appends it's Mark to the Jbox. Please see attached.
I would be very happy to hear from other ELEC users how they accomplish this workflow. I am always looking to improve how we do things.
