Diameter symbol - an issue?

Can anyone tell me why diamteter symbol displays in the way as shown below (strange R):

I would expect it might be the font you used. Not all fonts have the same characterset. See what it does when using Arial as font.

You also may want to try to enter Alt+157 which should give you the Ø symbol.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

I actually use Arial. I also tried Times New Roman, but it didnt change anything.

 

I typed Alt+157, but the result (unfortunately) is as follows:

Just found the solution.

 

I open .doc file, inserted dimater symbol, then ctrl+c and went to Revit and then ctrl+v 🙂
