Conduit end alignment without moving the whole conduit run?

Am I missing a setting or something? I would like Revit to only move the end of the conduit I'm aligning, not the entire conduit/run when I'm aligning the end of a conduit to something else.

If I align the end of one of these conduits to the center of the one perpendicular to it, it moves the whole conduit run.

Do I just have to deal with the hassle of pinning and unpinning everything?

how do you align?

you ca grab the grip and extend your conduit

or

you can basically align using the align button by selecting the center of conduit as reference and selecting the edge of the conduit you want to align

i dont think you need to pin anything

I think I needed to be using Trim/Extend instead of Align. It requires the drawing of a temporary/reference line to extend to, but at least it doesn't end up moving the whole conduit run.

That too. I'm just curious as how your whole run is moving. is it locked with dimensions?

I guess it's because the other end isn't connected to equipment or anything so revit might be seeing the whole conduit  run as one "loose piece".
