Central Model copied or moved

I cant open the revit file that the architect has sent to me. When i open it i see the below error.

That's normal when you open a copy of a central file.  Click the Close button and it will open. 

 

If you need to work on the file, Open Detached and Save As a New Central File. 

If you only need to link it in your model then ignore the warning.  No harms.

It doesn't open? It should.

 

Have you tried selecting detach from central before opening?

How can i open detached? i just received 1 file from the client.

The Open Detached box should appear prior to that warning. If not, simply click Close to let it open, then Save As and expand the option dialog to check the As New Central File box.
