CAD import into section view

Good morning,

I'm trying to link some CAD drawings into a section view in Revit but I can't see them.

I can see them on the floor plans but not in the sections.

It's look like that a problem is with visibility/graphic overrides.

Thank you !!!

They might be beyond the clip plane of the section view.

Locate them on plan and move them into the range of the section.

Can you send me a printscreen please?

Thank you.

Firstly, make sure "orient to view" is set when inserting into section. This will make the cad drawing stand on edge.

Then in a plan view find the cad view. Here the cad view is on the left, the section is further to the right and facing the opposite way:

Unpin the cad view and move it into the extents of the section:

It will now be visible in the section view. Align it to floor levels and walls and then re-pin it.

In the plan you can hide the cad plans so that they don't appear as long lines.
