Hello,
I suggest you to edit an existing family.
Remove the linework you don´t need.

You want to start with the Generic Annotation family template.
Once you made the linework you want, click the yellow folder button.
Then scroll down to Wires, hit the plus sign, and click Wire Tick Marks. Then save your new family or load into project.
