Best way to go about making this element one family?

A colleague of mine wants the attached element in the RVT file to be one family with connectors.

I was thinking about loading each seperate family into a new family but i can't seem to connect them then.

What would be the best way on making these elements one functioning family?

there is no way to convert from .rvt to .rfa, neither to insert tubes and connections in a family.
You can open the .RVT and export as dwg -> .SAT file. Create a family (.RFA) and import into a inport the .SAT file.
