I have a custom duct fitting family I've made, when attaching a flex duct to the round connector, it breaks my ability to dimension off the model lines i have setup in the family, while in coarse view. It also changes the appearance. See snip below. The lower fitting is the correct appearance, and the upper is how it appears with a flex attached. Family is attached. Can someone explain why this happens? How can i have my cake and eat it too?
