Architectural Model Invisible

Hello,

I recently linked my architectural model to a mechanical project. I was able to do that and start modeling my HVAC system. However, when I opened the file a few days later, only the HVAC systems were there.  I cannot see any of the architectural model. I used the "visibility and graphics" tab and everything is visible. I used the lightbulb icon to see hidden elements and nothing shows up. I'm not great with revit so please dumb things down for me.

There are many reason why things are not visble in Revit.

HERE a website with an extensive list of reasons.

In your case it might be that the linked file (Architectural) is not loaded. This can happen for several reasons

-You have unloaded the linked file.

-Linked file is deleted.

-Name of the linked file is changed (or its folder).

-Location of your project or linked file has changed.

Check your project browser

Assuming that the liked file is also Revit

Here you see that Project1.rvt is linked and loaded.

Project2.rvt is linked, but not loaded.

If it is not loaded you can try to "Reload" it. If revit can not find it then you can use "Reload From..." and point to the (renamed?, moved? file)

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
