Today it's only possible to add Tags, Keynotes and Dimensions to Locked 3D Views. To make tge 3D views better for dokumentation it could make a big different to be able to add Symbols to Locked 3D views.
Edit: For an inherently 3D app like Revit it seems odd that annotating 3D views has been such a recent development. And it still feels like 3D views (especially perspectives) are second-class citizens in the world of design documentation. I mean, why can't most or *all* of our details be 3d? Oh, right, because Revit's tools for annotating 3D views are so limited. So strange.
This is the kind of thing I would like to do in Revit. Grids and view callouts in a live 3D view of a piece of the model.
