Selecting and Deleting Multiple Parameters

We should have the ability to select multiple family parameters (using Ctrl or Shift buttons) in order to delete them, sometimes you have 10-15 unused parameters when you download a family from the web and you are stuck deleting them one by one.

I agree. This is really annoying. spending the whole day deleting each parameter one by one.

Autodesk please see our comments and apply this.

Our production team is spending a disproportionate amount of time on these simple tasks. It frustrates the production team, the project manager assembling the fee, and the client who has to pay for it. Please streamline this process and provide more value to the paying customers.

It astounds me that Autodesk continuously overlook basic quality of life features and don't implement user requests.

Yes, is very much sucks indeed. Well... I wouldn't say the entire parameters systems sucks, but any dialog box that doesn't allow multiple-select needs to be reprimanded.

Any dialog box in which items may be selected, please implement multiple-selection. In Revit, in all Autodesk software. In ANY software. And don't forget the Shift-button. We're not talking about Control-clicking one-by-one -- no, we're talking select the first one, Shift-select the 127th one, and then delete.

This! The amount of time I've wasted cleaning up unnecessary or unwanted parameters is ridiculous! It wouldn't be so bad if the stupid thing would at least auto highlight the next parameter or the delete key functioned so that you didn't have to constantly move the cursor back and forth to select everything every single time too.

Yes, it is a necessary change required in revit software, without which time will be wasted in deleting one by one. For the time being, By using 'Di roots' add-in, it is possible to delete multiple family parameters.

However, Autodesk should bring this change in the software.

Some of us are not allowed by our IT to use 3rd party add-ins. PLEASE Autodesk...provide us with a way to do this. I have manufacter=provided families that have line and line of unneeded parameters.

DiRootsOne Paramanger doesn't work in batch deleting parameters.
