It would be super beneficial to be able to change the family type without having to go into the family types properties. Often times I just want to change from one type to another while I am editing a family just to make sure nothing is constrained incorrectly or comes up with an error. It would be really nice if you could just change between types like you do when the family is actually in a model. It would be much easier to see the errors or changes between the two types if we didn't have to have the properties box open.
