It is suggested that the revit should add the road modeling function.

Now more and more people use revit to create roads, tunnels, Bridges, box culverts and other infrastructure, and much modeling requires plug-ins. In modeling, especially in longitudinal section and cross section, it is difficult to implement in revit. Although these can create models in revit, they can not achieve the graph. Why not use a CIVIL3D? In fact, the actual drawing is used in CIVIL3D, but the limitations of CAD are still very large, which can not carry the information volume of BIM. These revit can do, but now revit can not do the section, profile generation. In the analysis, if revit can support the route (CAD itself does not support), then revit can draw cross sections, profile. BIM is a big category, and the review itself has a strong information carrying capacity. If you can learn from the function of CIVIL3D (revit itself has some things, is revit has quietly planted the seeds for a long time?)。Then a complete BIM software is born. On the BIM is a great historical process!
