in many projects I have to combine the function of "In-Place Mass" to create a complex Family with "Model In-Place" because there is no way to set single points and lines on existing geometry in 3D.
My idea is the combination/inclusion of the functions to create a geometry with points and any type of lines from "In-Place Mass" in the function "Model In-Place", so I have the choise to create a geometry with the standard-functions (extrusion, blend, revolve, sweep, swept blend) or a kind of free form over the extrusion or sweep of a bundle of closed lines I have created in this family.
This also would be easier for the surveyor to create a Model of existing Buildings without using In-Place Mass and we better can create any kind of geometry in a project without any complications.
