Highlight in Model (Active/Opened Views)

Highlight in Model (Active/Opened Views)

From any schedule adding the option to search for elements just in active and/or opened views it will make it way more efficient and fast. The current search in all views is too slow and hard to open a proper element visualization, making it useless tool.

Yep, this would be great. Perhaps the option to limit the views searched to plan views that are on sheets, or sections or any of the above. Just had the experience of Revit searching elevations (really pointless), of which there are many.

'Highlight in Model' is a great function, but needs to be refined. As it is, the Highlight in Model option is often very nearly useless. Options that would be very useful:

1. Change the view types that are shown first. Currently, it starts at site plan views, which are rarely useful... and then takes you through exterior elevations (again useless), before moving inward to more focused views where the item is so often located and can actually be seen in the view.

2. Another option (I've seen something similar to this option indicated elsewhere in this forum) would be to provide a dropdown list allowing you to narrow the search manually. This might be the best option...

Either way, this functional improvement is long overdue.
