Revit 2022 added multiple hosts options for some tags, but it does not include area or room tags. There are a number of cases (particularly for life safety and department plans) where I would like to show a tag with a total area for several areas or rooms. It is easy to get a total for schedule element views, but impossible to show that total in context by tagging multiple elements.
A parameter along the lines of "Host Total Area" needs to be added to the multi-leader dropdown, or a formatting option for the standard area parameter, to enable totaling of area parameters. Then area and room tags also need the option to add multiple hosts. This would be further enhanced by the option to have an invisible leader, so multiple rooms making up a department could be tagged with one label
