Hi,
In the early stages of a project, I like to draw my ducts with duct placeholders so I can convert them in a later stage of the project to regular ducts. If that is done, I want to use the 'Duct/Pipe sizing' tool with a given velocity and a maximum height of the ducts.
For example:
I want a maximum diameter of 250mm for the round ducts, and also a maximum height of 250mm for the rectangular ducts with a maximum velocity of 3,0m/s. When I use the 'Duct/Pipe sizing' tool and my round ducts exceeds this velocity because the maximum diameter is 250mm, I want Revit to start using the rectangular ducts so the velocity will be respected. At this point Revit doesn't change the duct types and converts all the duct into 1 duct type.
It would be a nice feature if Revit would be able to see if it exceeds a given velocity with a restricted height and changes the ducts to (for example) rectangular so the velocity doesn't go above the given value.
Kind regards,
Jotie Claesen
