Copy elements with phase information

Copy elements with phase information

You have a high building with many levels. You create the first floor with all walls, windows and doors - now you demolish some walls, windows, doors and build some new things there.

Now you want to copy the whole floor to the clipboard and insert it on other levels. It works, but now ALL your inserted elements are phase "new construction".

And similar to this, bring over phase information when binding a linked model!

If the phases have been mapped on the link, use that data and assign the new elements accordingly!  If phases aren't already mapped, prompt the user to map or create new phases from the linked model!

Hi,

Have a similar situation.

When placing a lamp in a "existing" view the lamp is invisible.

You have to change the phase of the view in order to select the lamp, and then change it. This is not intuitive or helpful.

It would be nice to place a lamp in "existing" and have it "existing" or at least have the option of selecting a phase.

Thank you,

Trevor
