Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately the software we use does not currently support attachment of images on the mobile version. You can switch to the full site if needed. Since this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months, we will not be pursuing it at this time.
If you want the images to appear in the list you could achieve that by altering you avatar image with every new post. This would mean your mug shot would always picture your latest post. Your image is restricted to 120x120 pixels of course and will need to be round, but it is a start.
I have put my comment from before to the test and must admit that while it basically works, I find the updating of the avatar image somewhat lagging: If I click 'My Public Profile' I get to see my latest version of my mugshot - only the picture that appears next to my entry is still the first one I ever uploaded.
