At my firm, very often we create Area plans and a color legend to go with it to indicated Interior spaces, Exterior spaces, BOH spaces. One step forward would be if we could actually see the areas under each color scheme in the legend. See attached snip. I added a Area Legend on to the plan and then added text boxes with numbers for the corresponding categories. Revit does compute it in the form of Schedules but this way is visually more simple that to place another schedule on the sheet. Schedules also can't be colored coded per row and is generally a white table which makes prentation drawings like this one too busy. Thanks!
