I've posted this request previously, but requesting again to hopefully get more traction. We desperately need to ability to Excavate Toposolid by linked file. It's common practice to use separate building and site files that are linked to each other. Not being able to Excavate a Toposolid in a Site by by a linked Building file is counterproductive, and counterintuitive. Using Copy/Monitor is a useful work around, but still adds unnecessary time and effort in project development and documentation. Copy/Monitor allows the linked file to be selected and elements in the linked file to be Copied. So it's possible to have the same functionality in Excavate by Linked File.
