Conduit Elbow Rotation Corrupted and Elements Missing After Sync in Workshared Model

Hi everyone,

We have a persistent worksharing issue specifically with conduit
fittings (elbows/return modules) in our Revit 2026 model.

The problem occurs like this:
- User A draws conduit runs with elbows and syncs with central
- User B syncs → elbow rotations are corrupted (wrong orientation)
- OR some elements are completely missing after sync
- OR the following error appears during sync:
"The family is connected in a network and can no longer keep
the connectivity. Disconnect the family from the network?"

Important details:
- Users are NOT working at the same time on the same elements
- User A finishes completely, syncs, then User B opens/syncs
- Problem is specifically with conduit elbow fittings
- We tried pinning the elements before sync → did not help
- The issue is consistent and repeatable

Our setup:
- Revit 2026
- Workshared central model
- Custom conduit fitting families

Possible cause we suspect: connector Angle parameter inside
the fitting family may not be properly linked to geometry,
causing Revit to lose orientation during sync regeneration.

Has anyone seen elbow rotation being lost or corrupted after
sync? Is this a known family definition issue or a worksharing
bug in Revit 2026?

Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
