I export from Revit 2018 to a DWG file and the file is blank.... nothing

did try several suggestions  from this forum but nothing seems to work.....

Keep in mind the file was working fine in Revit 2017 and earlier today.

Thanks in advance

@renejimenez Hello, have you to install the latest updates from Autodesk and install the latest graphics card before exporting to DWG and see if helps. Thanks

I did, that is how the problem started.... I can't belive Autodesk would release a product that can't export a DWG file....

Personally my company can't upgrade to 2018 if this issue is not resolved by Autodesk, our consultants use DWG files on all projects.

Thanks

Export as DWG works fine here with Revit 2018.2. Have you looked at the settings in the DWG Export dialog to be sure that all the Revit categories are configured for export?

If you have not already done so, I would suggest checking if the issue is specific to the Revit model (i.e. do DWGs export successfully from other models, such as one of the sample projects).

I tested exporting to DWG from the RAC Basic sample project, in Revit 2018.2, and didn’t see the issue described.

Also, if exporting to DWF (instead of DWG), check if the following issue applies:

Sheet set export: DWF/DWFx files have file size of 0 KB and cannot be opened

If the information above does not lead to a solution, would it be possible to get a copy of the journal file recorded when exporting to DWG?
