Wrong lines between structural layers in floor type

Can anybody tell me why (in the picture) the line in the floor type is thin while both the layers are structural and should both be drawn thicker?

hmmm Revit uses common edge cutline, you can override it in VG under floor category [x] or possibly use a filter for the floor type I think. Or move it above the core, or draw them as two floors [1] or use lineweight to correct it (LW)...[2] 😛 edit: I guess these [1/2/3/4] are options, one more might be using Parts [3], overriding common edges overrides all of them so you don't want that one... edit2: you could also set it as substrate layer (different lw), but i'm guessing you were trying to do that and that wasn't what you were looking for. [4] I would probably go with option 1 and draw them as seperate floors.

No, that's not correct.  You are overriding edges based on layers' functional priorities.  "Structure[1]" in your case.

Thank you for the question.  I believe what you are referring to is the core boundary lines.  These will be a thicker line, since they are the core of your system.

The concrete prefab slab is"structure" as core, the concrete on top is also "structure" but outside of the core boundary, but because both are "structure" revit draws a thin line between the two layers.

If i make the top layer "finish" then theres a thick line between the floor-layers as expected.

I just want to control the line in between the structural layers but thats only doable if i change to common-edge style and change in the view template the common-edge cut line thickness.

Default. Core layers using same material have no line separating elements. Core layers using different materials show line between elements.

@hve-architecten I suppose my first post was a bit rambly... You can only control it properly if you draw it as two floors. You can then control the cutlines much better, for instance by using filters. You can copy-paste in place and adjust the type&offset. Other option is lineweight tool (LW) to adjust it manually for each view.

Yes i know. Just wanted the functionality within 1 floor type.

No, you can't but you could always post it in the idea forum. Unless I suppose if you only have 1 situation/floor assembly where you have those common lines, then you could override the common line style. Otherwise only way is to override it with the lineweight tool.
