Hi All,
After I open the door in the Family Editor, it comes as a different family and when I reload it, it comes as the family from the Editor and does not override the family which was supposed to be edited. I assume it is a Revit bug.
I've tried to open it with Audit, to restart my PC. Nothing helps.
The problem appears only to one Family. It is OK when opening a different door family.
Any ideas? Anyone with a similar problem?

If it is indeed a bug (which I highly doubt), no one here can help.
Share a portion of the project so that we can see this "bug" in action.

You running into an issue with combination of Revit and Windows.
In your filename you are using a slash / (nnnnn / internal wooden door). In windows this is a forbidden character for file names (also <>;"\/|?*)
When you edit the family and save it it will be saved as "internal wooden door.rfa". Now when you load it back into the project it comes in as "internal wooden door" (a new family) and does not overwrite the original that is stil called "nnnnn/internal wooden door"
So do not use those forbidden characters. Software often trips up with those characters.
Besides the ones above I also try to not use + or - (plus or minus) as this might be interpreted as a formula or is confusing to other users.
Further limit the use of spaces and use _ (underscore) instead. Might also be confusing (e.g. "pipe length")
Often I will use PipeLength (Camel case) or pipe_length....much clearer

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Good catch!
As I expected, "bug" = OIE.
