Worksets and Facebased Furniture problem

I have a model with a lot of Face-based Furniture (Chairs, tables...) I have found out that when I change them to another Workset they disappear in any view (3D, floors...) but they still exist and are counting in Schedules. If I select them (from a schedule) and change them to the original Workset, they will be still not visible.

I can solve the problem selecting a new face and placing the furniture again in the same place.

Anyone has suffered a similar problem?

Schedules ignore worksets, other views don't. That is how it is. What you do is not set the workset to Hide by Default universally, or turn the workset to Show for each view.

I know it, and of course was the first thing I checked. As I said, they won't be visible again even if i set the workset back to the original. That discards for me any Workset-Visibility related error.

I am actually pretty sure it is a bug, and would like to prove or discard it.

Maybe before it gets reported, you could share this family for others to look at before you try to report it as a bug. Maybe there is something else going on that you are missing.

They were several families and we had the same problem in 3 Computers, working on the same central model. I noticed that some families weren't having the problem and that is how I investigated that just the ones Facebased were the problem. After that we proceeded as I said, we clicked on select a new host an placed the again at the same place.

I agree it would be good to check it again and I wish I knew how to reproduce the problem...

You have a problem that can't be reproduced? Doesn't sound like it warrants wasting any more time on it.

@Viveka_CDI've looked for a copy of the model where the problem still presents is. If I copy the elements in a new project, it is also solved. So I cleaned the model to make it lighter.

@RobDrawI hope nobody has to fight against it, but if so, I already posted how to work around the problem, and I am doing my best to get the reason founded. For me it is important to solve errors that compromise the model in a way that can produce discrepancies.

Yes, it works if you turn on the visibility of the workset in the view you want the furniture to appear.

I had no time to answer before, sorry for the delay. 

I have installed screencast and recorded it in case I am missing something. It is still not working for me. Any Ideas?

No one can do anything but guess without an example of the problem. At this point Viveka is the only one who has seen this and she stated that it is a workflow issue.

But, I have to say that as I was looking at my video again I notice that the elements are not disappearing but "just" flying away!! Looking at the video you can see the blue temporal measures. The furniture is landig a few meters out of the visible area. I am now not less confused as at the beginning...
